World Population Day
AN INTERNATIONAL SERVICE INITIATIVE -
A project carried out to raise awareness through speaker sessions and social media campaigns about the rapidly-increasing population in our country & its effects, globally too.
To raise awareness on its international day, the Rotaract Club of Lala Lajpatrai College carried out its legacy project, "World Population Day." In order to spread essential knowledge, the club worked with schools in Nashik and Dharavi as part of its rigorous preparations for this enormous endeavour.
Important subjects including the significance of World Population Day, its far-reaching effects, and potential solutions were thoroughly discussed throughout engaging seminars. Students were more engaged during interactive exercises like slogan development and word searches, which reinforced the significance of the topic.
Sessions at KK Wagh University in Nashik were conducted for more mature audiences, where conversations encompassed subjects like sex education and hygiene. Through Instagram stories, the club shared the project's accomplishments, broadening its audience and influence. In essence, this effort sought to develop deeper understanding among students and increase awareness of population-related issues.
